common questions

Do I need a prescription and if I do, can it be filled in Canada?
Yes and Yes! By clicking the How To Order button and following the steps you can order most medications through our service.

Can you fill orders for minors under the age of majority?
Prescription orders for minors must have the medical questionnaire and forms signed by their legal guardian.

Are all prescription products available in Canada?
While most are available, different regulations in each country may cause distribution under alternative brand names and availability of some medications to be restricted. We do not sell any narcotic or habit-forming medications.

What related costs can I expect?
There are no hidden fees or unexpected charges. Price includes Physician review and pharmacy dispensing fee. Shipping is usually an additional $<% MSO.Common.Configuration.ShipFee %> USD. per parcel but can sometimes change according to weight of parcel.

What kind of shipping charges can I expect?
You are charged one shipping fee for every parcel, not prescription. If all your medications fit in one parcel, you will pay one shipping fee. (Usually $<% MSO.Common.Configuration.ShipFee %> USD.)

If I'm married, can my spouse or any members of my family benefit from all of our prescriptions in one parcel to save on shipping fees?
Unfortunately, in order to comply with the Canadian legislation PHIA(Personal Health Information Act), it is our responsibility to respect the confidentiality of each individual's medication information. This confidentiality also extends to the individual's prescriptions. Therefore, we will only send an individual's prescription(s) in a parcel that is addressed to the same individual.

Why are your prescription prices so low?
1. The low Canadian dollar increases your buying power!
2. Canadian government price controls cap how much pharmaceutical manufacturers can charge for brand name drugs.
3. Generic drugs, when possible, may be substituted for additional savings.

What is the lead-time for me to receive my medication?
Prescriptions usually take 10 days to receive after being confirmed by the pharmacy. (The time frames may vary depending upon the postal services load -as such we suggest ordering 30 days in advance.)

What if my shipment does not arrive?
After 21 days, we will, at your discretion, either refund the order or reship the parcel via overnight courier.

How much can I order?
With prescription orders, you are permitted to purchase up to a 3-month supply (100 days) of each of your medications for which the prescription validates. If your prescription is written for more than a 3-month supply then we will fill the remainder as refills as they come due. With non-prescription orders, you have no limitations (However there may be duties and other related charges.)

Will I pay Canadian sales taxes on my American order?
No. We do not charge any sales taxes on exported orders.

Do you accept American insurance plans for prescriptions?
No, unfortunately not since insurance plans are typically set up to work with in their country of origin. We will send you, along with your order, a receipt itemizing the cost of each medication and related charges for your insurance company to review.
